"The wonderful week in the Rockies is drawing to an end and I’m sitting on the porch looking one last time at the FANTASTIC view of the high peaks, recalling the valleys we hiked and the lakes where we lunched."

"The whole family (3 counting grandchildren) fit comfortably into “On the Rocks” and enjoyed the amenities—making fondue in the crockpot, grilling veggie burgers and portobellos on the porch, satellite tv, teaching Alex that a king can move backwards and jump the opponent’s checker, climbing up and down the stairs, and the elk, coyotes, and hummingbirds as our neighbors."

But #1 is the view!! and being able to enjoy it all in comfort."

"Estes Park is a great town. We enjoyed a trip up Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Park is breathtaking. We also enjoyed horseback riding in the mountains at the Cowpoke Corral. Perfect for the very inexperienced rider."

"The shopping in Estes Park was fun, too! Be sure to sign up for the SuperSaver Card at Safeway. We saved over $30."

"The house was better than we ever imagined—so much room! So accommodating and inviting for guests!"

"P.S. Be sure and visit the YMCA. What a great facility."

"This is our 5th year to celebrate Christmas in Estes Park, and this was one of the most perfect yet! On Christmas Eve it began to snow and on Christmas Day we awoke to the splendor of white . . . truly a white Christmas."

"On Christmas morning a herd of elk came to rest all around the house and stayed all day!"

"There was plenty of room for everyone and the view was spectacular."

"We had many adventures . . . we woke up one morning to find the trash cans in disarray and trash all over the driveway with telltale piles of bear scat around the cars. We hope to return for more adventures in future years."

"We were here 8 days and hiked 8 days—overdid a couple of days so slowed down toward the end."

"It is wonderful to have a “home” to come back to—cook together, eat together, clean up together, and sit on the deck enjoying the view."
